Default Best 4.8 mods/results.....

I was curious to see what mods you all have done and what outcome you got. I have a 4.8 with bolt-ons, cam, and spray that has brought it alive pretty good but this summer I will be doing a complete rebuild and want to get some opinions on what would be the best mods?

With the truck as it sits, im at 345hp and 381 trq. This is with a shitty hypertech programmer and an a/f that drops off around 4000 rpms. Ultimately I want to be btween 400 and 450 to the wheels.

never run it at the track, I'm honestly not too worried about track times (x-cab= TOO MUCH WEIGHT!) but a fun and fast weekend toy.

My 4.8 makes 540/560+ as it sits. YOu need a power additive to make any power with these little motors.

Good lord, what you got on that thing! And as far as the part # on my air filter, it was givin to me from a friend, but it's a k&n with a universal opening that I mated to my MAF and tb with a coupling sleeve. sorry man, no part # for ya though. I would go look at it but its in Georgia and I'm in Texas.
