what kinda tool to pull balancer off 2002 lq4 .my 3 jaw puller keeps slipping off the little tabs.

I have the OTC 6667 puller and it works real well.

Put the jaws on the inside of the balancer. The ones you are using are really not intended for pulling. Look on the backside and you will 3 slots that the jaws will sit in.

thats where i am pulling from . going to buy otc 6667 today .the jaws are wider apart from the center than mine

I have the Mac Tools balancer puller set, however I would suggest the OTC kit if you don't need one on a regular basis, both work awesome!
grease the threads on the puller to make it last longer!
