A ben did you ever put a cam in the NNBS???

I have a 220 .581 112 cam in the cabinet that I'm planning on sticking in my 5.3.

My plan is to add 3000 converter with this cam, im hopping thats enough converter with the gears and the 243 heads.

as of now i can attest to stock48 cams, i also have a grind from him.. I currently haven't taken it to the track since im working on a trans reuild. but as far as on the street pulls on the mid and top range pretty good. considering im not running a converter and stock exhaust with no cats. as soon as i get trans ill do a track pass and dyno before i add longtubes and heads.

What LSA? the tsp220 cam?

with a crew cab truck that weighs 6k imo you are either gonna need a little less cam or a little more converter.

the cams a 112 LSA. I'd probably trade it if someone had a 212/218ish on a 112. I want the chop.

I'm only doing a cam to ditch the DOD lifters and I loved the mild lope of my old cam. The truck will never see a track, I have my track toy.

I'm going to install the cam and see what kind of RPMs it likes before I pull the trans for a freshen up and Circle D converter.

that cam will be a complete dog until 3400+, and it's not really a good cam for torque, which you will need a lot of with a 6000 pound truck. i would look at the vinci "the trucker" camshaft. you may also want to consider getting pat g to spec u a cam.

I havent done anything with the CC as of yet, still not sure I'm going to keep it much longer honestly. The main thing I've been buying lately is guns and ammo LOL.

I've got trans issues in my reg cab so any mods on the CC have been kinda shelved.

another baby cam is the SDPC HT1
Its a 214/218 .559/.562 111 LSA

heres an idle clip:

If my 220 sells I'll be ordering this cam. I spoke to Beau this morning and he told me he would even order it for me in a Single bolt so I don't have to replace my sprocket and cam bolts.
