Same here. If I can fix or do it myself I'm all for. Love building and tryin new things. Hope to do something similar with my lq4 one day.

What tranny converter flexplate combo are you going with? The crank looks like it came out of an early iron headed 6.0. Those cranks are longer (about .400") than the aluminum headed 6.0's. The aluminum headed 6.0's came with a spacer that bolts on the back of the crank where the flexplate goes, and the iron headed 6.0's were just longer without a bolt on spacer. If you are using a stock flexplate, stock 80e converter you will be fine. If you are going with an upgraded flexplate, they are thicker, and you will have to make your converter manufacturer aware of this so it will fit properly. It isnt a problem, just make sure you mention this if you are purchasing an aftermarket converter and flexplate.

Yes it is a 2000 block and im going to be running factory flexplate and stock 80e converter. glad you made this clear because i was going to ask if i needed anything to bolt up to this trans. early iron 6.0 does not require a spacer..
