assembling a 408 for future turbo , need alot of advice/info

Well the assembly lube will help with the initial start up but break in additive will add zinc to the oil. The rings will seat a bit faster and help the valvetrain for the first few thousand miles. Its worth the reassurance IMO

added some break in additive , thanks for the tip .

will go to the dyno on wednesday, its about 300 miles from here , should I haul the truck or drive it there with a base tune?

tuned the startups, idle , and slightly modfied the cruse AFR.. I think ill drive it to the tunner after some more street tunning

Many moons ago
how did the engine last and how strong was it till you killed or sold it?
