Default ARP Head Studs question

So I still have a set of ARP Pro Series head studs from my 2011 6.2 build. My question is can these be used on my 2004 5.3 motor? I thought that the head stud kit was specific to the newer style heads but when I look up the part number (234-4317) according to Summit it's compatible with my 5.3

Anyone have any experience with this? Seems pretty obvious with the part number and everything matching up but I could have swore I remember hearing these would not work on my 5.3

Thanks in advance for info/help.

They MIGHT work on your 5.3, I've seen both possibilities on 2004 engine blocks. I thought we talked about this already?

We did and you said they wouldn't but after looking at the part number you can see the confusion. Heck even the box says LS1 on it for them. Hence the question.

So there is no sure way to know without trying then?

You will have to remove at least one head bolt to find out. And it's under the valve cover.

If #10 & 3 are the same length, then your stud kit will work. If one is longer than the other, then your stud kit will not work. The difference is the block, not the heads. Here's a pic of what I think you'll see.
