If your little saying holds true then it looks like 4.10s and 37s will be the ticket with a 1950 cruise rpm at 75mph. 4wd drifts on 37s ought to be fun, just hope I can fit em

Please tell me you're not going to try 4.10's in a 10-bolt with 37" tires...

The 418 will build the low end torque period, no matter the cam....to an extent of course. Get the tire size you want and drive what you've got. Log and tune and decide on gear last. With a couple months of driving and tuning to decide. Everything is different. Don't decide on gear now. Let it be a finishing touch when you are "done".

Problem is, I have all the parts to rebuild the 14 bolt right now last thing to buy is the gears, so it would be nice to buy the gears, once, I can run it on the 10 bolt for sure and be easy on it but after its up and running thats the next mod is the rear. I also bought the front diff off turboberserker which has 4.10s in it so I would like to know if I could get away with that since r&r of the front diff isnt exactly fun. Thats why im trying to get some suggestions for where I should be so I dont have to "trial & error" it. The 14 bolt I have came with 4.10s that are in good shape so Im going to start off with the 4.1 ratio and see if I happy, main thing I was worried about was having to go with 4.56s.

In that case just run the 4.10's for a couple months and take your time with the gear. Seriously, only time will tell on the "right" gear for you to be happy. The 4.10's will be close...If not right with the 418, 224 cam, and 37's.
