im currently running the texas speed 224/224xe.

id like to eventually boost this truck so ive always read id need to swap cams.

If i opted to swap now how would this one perform with my setup in comparison to what i have installed.

I like the cam you have now. What kind of boost are you going to be running? I have a 224/230 on a 114 with a magnacharger and about 11psi.

 

no clue. i just know the truck will be payed off next year so i can spend money on it again.

im thinking a procharger tho.

 

I am running the 224r on a 112lsa, seems to like the boost just fine..

 

Typically with a boost cam you want something small in duration a 114 LSA or wider. The reason for that is you don't want a cam with too much overlap because it will bleed off boost and cost you power.
