When you put your heads on, on each side put the back bottom head bolt in the head when you put them on.

Just take your time and lay each bolt/ piece on table or cardboard on the floor to keep evry thing organized.

I would take a air gun and try to blow all the crap away before you tear down.

You'll need a breaker bar or cheater to break loose the headbolts.

Also a catch tub to catch the coolant you'll lose.

A cheater pipe and PB blaster for your exhaust manifold y pipe studs.

Not too hard, just a little tedious. Actually i had a great time tearing mnie apart, the satisfaction of doing it my self and having start the first time and run well was well worth it.

Also make sure to line up the dots on the cam/timing gears. Use the old crank bolt to rotate the crank for alignment.

Another thing a lot of people don't know is you can take the waterpump off without removing the clutch fan. That saves a lot of dicking around. Get an extension and go inbetween the blades. You can get access to all 6 bolts no problem. I've done this now for 3 cam swaps and everything has gone easy as pie.

i will keep all of this in mind. thank you.

im not going to have access to air tools, everytime i plug in my air compressor it trips the breaker. (crappy apartment complex) and i have e-fans so i dont have to worry about the clutch fan.

do i need to degree my cam or just line everything up dot to dot?

It's always best practice to degree the camshaft. If the timing is off you'll need to get yourself an adjustable timing set. Peronally I'd recommend the progear setup.
