I have the tr220 cam and all valve train parts but thinking about buying some ported heads around $1000-1400 range. Looking a tsp and tea
I know the bigger ports will hurt low end some, but would it be noticeable? Plan on keeping the stock intake manifold also.
What kind of hp gain come from a set of ported 862s or 243s.
I'm thinking about going 370 forged later down the road so these heads would be swapped over to it.

I was reading into the same thing cause I'm also looking at heads
on the corvette forum and some old LS1tech threads
a lot of the people were seeing about 30-50 RWHP out of them depending on prior mods, and I dont think I found any milled head numbers

I'll check those out!
The cam should bring 30-35ish with my headers and I bet the heads bring another 30 with the combo. Should be around 340-350 at the wheels.
Has anybody herd of a N/a 5.3L hitting 400 rwhp? maybe a massive cam/heads/intake with high compression?
