How do you like it and did you keep the stock stall??? I have been searching for an hour and have come up empty.

I just bought a 04 2500 ccsb 4x4 and want to do a cam change but keep the stock veter.

I don't know if anyone's running that cam with a setup like yours, but if I were to run that cam in a heavy ccsb 2500, I'd want a 2800-3200 converter, and 4.10 gears (depending on tire size). Considering that it's a single pattern cam, I'd do some good exhaust upgrades first, such as long tube headers (1 3/4" primaries and 3" collectors), cat delete, and a free flowing muffler (at least a 3" cat back, 3.5" might be better, or dual 2.5's)

*EDIT* If you do a lot of towing, I'd suggest something a little smaller, like a 216/22x, or even the famoust 212/218, just my opinion

I was planning on a set of pacesetter long tubes. It has a true dual setup but the cats are still on it for now, dual in/out magnaflow on it. It does have 4:10 gears with 285/75/16's, I guess I will see how it does with the stock verter and go from there. Thanks for the reply!

Im running a tsp224r in my 2500HD ccsb 4x4 with a circle d 2800-3000 stall fast lsxrt and lts and love it. You really do want a bigger stall than stock even though the HDs have a stock 2600 stall that extra few hundred rpms help get it moving.
