what do you mean "not one straight ansewer"?

His question was is hte 212/218 in a tahoe to much, 5.3l. Even with 4.10 gears if he wanted to add those and a TB converter IMO its not gonna provide the best torque around 2000-2500 rpms for cruising. We have thrown out many other cam grinds that would provide excellent torque in his cruising ranger and probably give him close to 20-30 rwtq gains.

Thumbs up Baby Cam In My L33

Hey Guys,

Here are a couple clips of my cam.
Let me know if you want to hear/see anything else.
Idle RPM is set to stock. (approx 600rpm)
Sorry I let off in the take off clip.
I'll let'er go in the daytime if you want.

Gotta say that I'm surprised as hell about the sound of the idle with that cam in the 5.3. Sounds good. You running stock stall?

Hey that's the security light, and the tow/haul light.
I messed around tuning one day and set the damn security light.
I haven't taken the time to reset it yet.

Yeah, I like the sound of it too. I am running the stock stall.

WOW,
Hey I just listened to it on photobucket.
The sound quality SUCKS now.
It was OK before I uploaded it.
I don't really know how to get a decent clip to you guys.

Sorry about that.

I'm sure it would do pretty well in a 4.8.

Back to the topic of this thread.
I think this cam would be a good choice for a big yukon.
I have a ton of torque at 1200 rpm. I can drive moderate hills locked in OD at 1200-1300 with 3.42s no problem.

I think it would easily roast the tires off idle with the stock stall with some 4.10's.
Hopefully I'll find out pretty soon.
