Default 99-03 return fuel system on l92 intake

I have put together the part # of the two parts to make a return style fuel system work on a returnless fuel rail. Fuel filter with internal press regulator is for a 04 corvette # 10299146. U can attach the bracket to the fuel rail for support. The quick connect hose is off a 05 vette on the fuel tank # 10362524. I found this to be the symplist and cleanist install fix for the fuel system for those who do a L92 heads and intake swap. I used LS2 injectors were used and rail was raised up a little and hose went under rail. Here are pix.

Hope these help anyone doing this swap!

I did it with the same FPR and some FI hose and some quick connects.
35 FPR
15 connectors
7 length of hose
5 Fuel Injection Hose

Their was a LPE 427 twin turbo 05 corvette up on the lift and i just happen to look at the fuel system and seen that quick connect hose that made the bend i was looking for. I like this way better than last time i used this motor in an 02 silverado. I had 2 cut the main press line near the tank and sharpen the bend and then i mounted the filter back at the tank. It worked but i didnt like the way it fit in their. It was kinda a cobble job and I hate cobble crap!! I wanted the most volume to engine as posible before it is regulated down. This way is more my style. It can even be converted back to OEM without buying a $250 fuel lines!

That is a nice clean and simple setup. Are there any vaccum conncetions to be made? I thought the stock regulator on the 99-03 system was vaccum regulated?

I'm hoping this will work on a TBSS fuel rail and inake as well.

Thanks

Default L92 intake

I’m a bit late to the party. I like this idea I would like to try this. Only thing that gets me is that connector on what I believe is the Egr valve near the fuel rail, the plastic hose coming off the intake going to that electrical connector/quick connect. Does that need to be plugged it or do you not have that plugged in? I have a harness made from another swap with a 5.3 I just got this lq4 I’m building. The other harness is wired for truck intake on a gen 3 motor.
