also, what elevation are you at? i know parts of TX are weird in trying to sell mid-grade 91 as the premium even though they're nowhere near 5000ft elevation. if that's all you can get, you can still run it as-planned... but you'll be more limited on timing.

 

In what parts of TX do that? I would think only small towns, nowhere up and down the 35 corridor has issues with that.

 

basically everywhere west of dallas - at least that i seen. 93 can be had, but you have to know where to look, and that 85 garbage started creeping in a while back. i even remember a lot of eastern OK doing the same in the early 2000s

 

E-85 has been creeping in Ft. Worth recently. I haven’t seen any lack of 93 wherever I travel but that’s just me.

I am in the Texas panhandle and we are 3600ft give or take, it is one of those places that 91 is our premium. We have 87/89/91
