Default #7 has left the building on my D1SC 5.3 need advice

After 6 months of 12# at WOT and running the **** out of my stock 5.3[108000 miles], I had multiple misfires on #7 and excessive crankcase ventilation yesterday.
Now I know I have to pull this motor but I need advice on what to put back in:
1.a used stock 6.0[would this need internal work anyway]
2.build my 5.3 internally stronger to handle the boost, maybe make it a 5.7

Either option I will put a Vinci Trucker cam 216 224 .551 .551 115 LSA in it, before goes back in my truck.
What is the cost for either option?

Good looking truck. I'm gonna say that thing deserves a 6.0L or larger. You can make plenty of power with a 5.3 or 5.7 on boost, but the low end torque you get from the added displacement really helps get these beasts moving.

Sorry for the motor problems, but at least you got 108K out of the motor. Where are you located?
