So, has to be a newer motor. How much work would be involved with dropping a older motor in, or never gonna work if tired.

with the blower your goals can be met but on motor its gonna take some work to get that

Answer is....it won't be cheaper then buying a new motor

Just slap a cam and blower on your truck with headers. It's relatively easy to make that power with the right combo of mild mods and boost
