Default 6 liter cam choice for 2500HD

I have 03 2500HD 4x4 5 speed that im looking to get some more power out of. I have messed with the LSx engines quite a bit but never in a truck.

I am really looking for low/mid range power. Peak power isnt a big concern. I live in hilly country and tow a trailer often. Future plans include a Whipple but thats a ways off yet.

Thanks for the input

Comp 216/220 low lift. Works with LS6 springs nicely.

Yeah i agree that sounds like a great cam choice.

Back about 7 years or so ago I got to ride in a cammed 02 6.0 2500HD, i believe it was just a 212 218 comp and that ****** ran ! Of course TJ and zippy had their hands in it too

You will be able to get away with running Z06 springs too which is nice on the wallet.
