Default 6.2 help

So I was thinking about building a 408 stroker but came across a 6.2 complete low milage motor thinking about raising compression changing cam and running race fuel with carb set up my question is whats the best way to do this what would be the est cost and what hp numbers could I expect this will be off road with a large stahl if I decide to stroke the 6.2 down the road what ci is it good for

What kind of vehicle? How heavy? Gears and tire size?

Easiest way to raise compression without replacing the pistons is mill the heads and use a thinner head gasket.
Your costs will be for the machine work, head bolts, gaskets, cam, valve springs, carb style intake, etc. you'll need something for spark as well.

What are your $2000 worth of upgrades?
A 6.2 will spin to 7000 (not sure how long it will last though) as it comes from GM.
Do you have a specific goal in mind? Setting a goal makes it easier to figure out what parts you're going to need. Are you shooting for 500hp? 600? What's your RPM limit?

As much hp as possible prolly around 6500 rpm or whatever is safe just trying to figure the best angle to take before spending money I hate to spend to much money on bottom in because I plan on saving up for a stroker down the road also want to do things now that will work good with a stroker if I have to change cams again thats no big deal just dont want to need new heads and everything
