Default 6.098 vs 6.100 rods

So im trying to see if any ones has knowledge about this issue. i have seen that there is alot of offerings for 6.100 rods that take the place of stock 6.098 rods. i am almost done with my parts list and am looking to make 600 at the wheel. is there a reason to go forged with a/m rods or stay with the factory stuff other than reset the ring gap and put rod bolts in.

Just throw some bolts in and have the factory rods resized or atleast checked to make sure they're not out of round with the new bolts! New bearings and put it back together....

I ran Scat 6.100's in my old ls1 and was just fine. You're only talking about .002, about the thickness of a human hair! lol I think there are a lot of 6.100's cuz that's a common size for the old school small block chevy's and they will fit in these motors too if I remember right.
