6.098 vs 6.100 rods
#1
So im trying to see if any ones has knowledge about this issue. i have seen that there is alot of offerings for 6.100 rods that take the place of stock 6.098 rods. i am almost done with my parts list and am looking to make 600 at the wheel. is there a reason to go forged with a/m rods or stay with the factory stuff other than reset the ring gap and put rod bolts in.

I ran Scat 6.100's in my old ls1 and was just fine. You're only talking about .002, about the thickness of a human hair! lol I think there are a lot of 6.100's cuz that's a common size for the old school small block chevy's and they will fit in these motors too if I remember right.
