I did a search, but didn't find my answer...

Are the stock 5.3L valve springs the same as the stock LS1 springs? I tried to compare part numbers but no such luck. I am going to be ripping apart the motor and am hoping to swap in some lower mileage parts. I found a good deal on a used LS1 cam and springs.

Just call the gm dealership and ask for a mechanic i do it all the time on something like that or call orielys and see if the part number is the same for what your looking for

 

Dealer said they are the same part #
