5.3 vortec stroker?

Is it possible to bore a 5.3l to a ls1? And put a ls1 stroker kit in from texas speed or somewhere?

Yes, the can be bored to Ls1 Spec but you should have the block checked first.

The 5.3L uses the same stroke as the LS1 engine.

I'm wanting to boost it with a turbo or twins. What would be the best thing to do to the bottom end? As far as pistons and rods?

It's a 2000 silverado with 222/224 cam, dual cold air intake,
Electric fan, bigger valve springs, and chromoly push rods.

fully forged would be best and pistons rings for boost. maybe call TSP instead of ordering online, talk to them about your goals and see what they suggest
