I don't run the website, but what is blackout? Or did you mean block? We carry cylinder heads from most major manufacturers such as Trick Flow, AFR, PRC, Brodix, GM. All depends on your budget and goals.

A great bang for the buck cylinder head would be the PRC AS-Cast 225 cathedral port aftermarket castings. At 1799.99 assembled with a dual PAC Springs they are hard to beat. In N/A applications these cylinder heads have produced over 500rwhp on LS2 stock bottom end applications. They have a thicker deck and laid over valve angle for increased deck strength and improved piston to valve clearance. They can be had with a 68cc chamber which would put compression on this particular setup right at 9.43:1.

I've never done it personally, but I have seen an iron 5.3 block with a 4.100 crank shaft in it. Didn't ask the dude about rod length or compression height though.

Do the 5.3's have a shorter cylinder than the 6.0 blocks? I've seen several in iron 6.0 blocks.

I wanna say I've seen an iron 6.0 with a 4.125 crank in it, but don't quote me on that.

I'm pretty sure ERL can take a 5.3 block to 427 cubic inches, if not a little bigger if you wanted.

When I first read this tittle I thought to myself yes! This will be interesting!

But looks like that's not the case- has anyone done just a 5.3 bore with 4" stroke crank? Do they even make aftermarket 5.3 Pistons? Never searched 3.780 piston size
