5.3 mating to a T56?

5.3 mating to a T56?
I have a cheap LT1 fbody I bought, decent condition but the motor may have low oil pressure & it has the usual opti issues it seems. Also leaking oil at the rear main & front timing cover. For the price of repairing these small issues all together I can pick up a 5.3L long block to drop in.
Plan is to boost it down the road, stock block & truck heads for low compression. In the mean time I'll just use the stock block with ls6 intake & fbody accessory drive/oil pan, etc. Do stock 241 casting heads have the same bore as the 5.3 block? I'll probably just do a small cam/241heads/long tubes while I get a front mount kit put together.
Back to the original question, those of you with 6speed swaps; what needs to be done to mate a 5.3 block to a T56?

If you don't find much here, run over to LS1TECH and give the guys in https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids-28/ or https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission-14/ a shout. Gl, with your project.

I think the only real issues that your going to run into is that the output shaft lengths are different between LS and LT platforms. That causes flywheel mounting issues I believe. There is a very comprehensive thread on LS1LT1. A guy did that and mounted in a wagon I believe.

I'm 90% sure that you can use any type LS1 or LS6 heads on the 5.3s which is the same for all stock LS1's and LS6's.
I'm not sure about the 6-speed swap but there is a guy on S-10 forum who has one with a GTO shifter and boot in his S-10.
