Default 5.3 head work and cam

I have a stock 03 z71 and was wonderin what would be a good size valve,springs cam comb?

it all depends what you want out of it and what you are going to be using the truck for and of course, how much you want to spend

Yup, very vague question. I can tell you that the Comp 212/218 low lift, LS6 springs, and hardened pushrods will make you happy for a while. But still need more info from you.

Do a TR220 on a 112 with a 32-3600 Yank and you will be happy....

If you're serious and ready to lay down the dough, give Richard at WCCH a call and see what he has to offer, I was very impressed with what his 5.3 StageI heads did for tdrumm's truck

I just want somethin that will cut a good lick and still be able to drive it everyday. and price range anywhere from 500 1500 would be as much as i could go. I thought about gettting my heads ported and new springs good size cam and prob a bigger Tbody

Run the stock heads (stock ports) they will be fine with a mild cam. Put the money that you were going to use on the p&p heads into the transmission, gears or tru trac. That overall would be better in my opinion.

Wut would be a good size cam but wouldnt kill the brakes and not kill the power???
