The 4.8 in my silverado finally died at 284k a few months back and I happened to pick up a 80k 5.3 from a 02 Tahoe. So before I swap it in I am adding a cam which I happen to have a tsp torquer v2 232/234 .600/.600 110 lsa cam laying around from a old project. Just was curious if this would be a fun cam to run in the 5.3 or would it be too much. I am going to run the 1 3/4 headers, 8.1 injectors From my 4.8 on it and truck has 4.56 rear gears and yank ss 4K stall already. It's not a daily drive at all just play toy on weekends.

Pretty big cam for a small engine. It would be all top end with a very soggy bottom end and mid range.
Lower would be quite a bit better imo.
That cam will chop like hell though.
