Default 5.3 Cam

I have a 5.3 and want to change the cam. I have a question tho... Will I need to get new cam bearings if I put an LS6 cam into it?

no, but you will need a new flux capacitor....

but seriously, you will just need hardened push rods, and valve springs

everyone knows the flux cap is good to 3,000,000,000 miles

What he said, hardened pushrods and different springs to make use of your increased lift and higher revs.

Swapping a stock 5.3 into an 84 vette.... You sure you don't wanna get someone to install it for you?

He's saying he's done that before. So cam swap for him should be easy.
