I agree. You can make crazy power with small cubes and a turbo. Look at the Supras and Grand Nationals. The name of the thread is "5.3 build it or not". I will bow out of this one.

i agree with the guy talkin about tha stock crank... its not goin any where.. the journals are bigger than a 400 crank if im not mistaken... just port tha hell outta those 5.3 heads cause they will flow like crazy if ported well.. keep compression down.. i would use some good forged pistons and rods.. good headers.. as long as that puppy can flow with the blower it will be all good.

man people scrap the aluminum blocks in f bodies and use 5.3 blocks all the time cause you can spray more nitrous.. there is no problem with walls bein to thin.. im an auto machinist... i know a lil somethin about cylinder walls i think....
