.600 lift with stock heads? I'd get a second opinion about a cam grind.

Price out the cost of a cam, cam kit, torque converter, and tune. Then compare that to a used s/c.

Id even go with somthing small like a 212-218 on 112 lsa with a 3000 stall, would still have good low end for truck stuff, but would still shine on top end. Especially on a stock engine.

With the size and weight of the truck, I would have to agree with nonnieselman, the 212/218 would be an excellent choice, although I would suggest a 2500 converter instead of the 3000.

I really feel that the camshafts listed would work fine, I would be more partial to the 2nd cam, but we would want at least a 3000 converter for it...

Why need to be low 2500 stall. Why can't go 3000 stall if you don't mind to explain to me A little bit.

Thats not a "have to" or a "must" just my opinion. We for dd applications, that is generally what I would recommend, but it really depends on what kind of drivability you are looking for.

Although, if it were my personal vehicle, I would probably run a 3600 converter with a 224R on a 112LSA. Being that I only drive to work and home, such a short distance I think it would be fun for me, but again that is my personal opinion and my goals for drivability... Simply put, to each his own!

What's the specs on the 224r

I should have stayed in sales first I talked him in to a cam. Then just about to close on a converter and already got him thinking about some heads haha
