Default 4.8 tow help

I am looking for a little extra horespower and torque for towing with my 05 1500 4.8L 4x4 I have 456 gears and 35 tires. I want to do the 6.0L motor swap just don't have the money for the motor swap right know. I was thinking maybe a cam but don't know which one would help me out the most. What have other guys tried and really does help. Thanks

have you thought about a blower? you'll gain more this way than from a 6.0. not sure if that will cost too much money for you. I think with a cam you might gain some but proabaly not eough to where you want to be. get some smaller tires.
