i agree....if you want the most power for your $$ swap a 6.0L.....by the time you get all the bolt ons and cam, stall and **** you will only have as much power as a stock 6L....

or if your retarded like iam just keep putting money in the 4.8L and when you get a big payday(or save $$) get the 6L, cuz most of the parts you buy for it will work in all the LSx motors.....

on another note....my TR224 really woke this motor up. I have not got the converter in yet, but i have high hopes for it once its done.

The 6.0L is not feasible right now because I am in hawaii and it wouldn't be as cheap for me as it would be for you guys.

There is no "bore" in a cylinder head. Intake Ports/Exhaust Ports/Combustion chamber is probally what you are/were referring to. Just trying to help out....

How much do you wanna spend? I've got about 2k in my 4.8 with long tubes(most of the money) cold air intake and a hypertech and its still a dog. There is no replacement for displacement. just save a little while and get the 6.0L

Barley,

You need to get a mail order tune or some kind of custom tune to actually get the most out of your mods your hypertech does very little for performance.
