i agree....if you want the most power for your $$ swap a 6.0L.....by the time you get all the bolt ons and cam, stall and **** you will only have as much power as a stock 6L....
or if your retarded like iam just keep putting money in the 4.8L and when you get a big payday(or save $$) get the 6L, cuz most of the parts you buy for it will work in all the LSx motors.....
on another note....my TR224 really woke this motor up. I have not got the converter in yet, but i have high hopes for it once its done.

There is no "bore" in a cylinder head. Intake Ports/Exhaust Ports/Combustion chamber is probally what you are/were referring to. Just trying to help out....
