well my plan was to do a boosted 6.2 in my 04 shorty but due to a head bolt hole stripping on my ls6 engine in my zo6 decided to put that in my car
so.....
that leaves me with ported 243's, ported fast 92, 36lb injectors, BTR stg 2 cam 227/234 614/576 113+2 from my ls6
i know its not a optimal setup for the 4.8 but what kind of power would it make? all that with kooks long tubes, cai & tune

That setup in a truck would be horrible, and would also require a large stall. Would have no low end and you would hate it. You could do a big stall and it would be fun wide open, but driving it it would probably feel slower than before. Again, unless you're at WOT
Those heads would drop compression, the cam would drop dynamic compression.. just a bad combo for a 4.8 in a truck.
With a much smaller cam and those heads milled way down it would be fun.

Cam even seems large(r) for a 6.0, let alone a 4.8/5.3. I would repair the ls6 and throw that in the truck with those goodies.. You're better off that way. If you stick with 4.8 I would go smaller on the cam and a bigger stall. Something in mid teens low 20's on duration and a 3600+ with 4.30+.
My goals for my 5.3 RCSB is 223/227 Tick TorqueMax LS1 grind, 3500 stall, 4.30's and eventually TBSS intake swap. And maybe if I get bored with that I'll spray it 150 or so.
