does anyone know if the harness for a cd changer comes wired in our trucks(2004 gmc sierra excab) even if we dont have one in the truck
i have the one out of my 02 z28 that id like to put in the truck if its already wired thanks for the help oh yeah if it is does anyone knoe where it would be if it does thanks Dan

 

Sorry, never heard of a truck coming with wires for a cd changer.

On the earlier year trucks 2002-down where you had a remote tape player in the console you could use that same harness for the 6 disc cd changer that came in the denali trucks. I don't know how it is on the new 2004 since they changed the whole dash and I think they dropped the remote tape player too.

If it's not too difficult try pulling the radio out and check to see if it has a plug for an aux device.
