No y'all got it wrong u should use the 6.0 block and crank with the longer 4.8 rods. You would have to either raise the deck height or get custom pistons but u wouldn't lose torque and you would get some of the advantage a shorter stroke provides with the longer rods having a motor that could eisily turn 8000 and make power all the way through the rpm rang with the right valve train/head combo

I love the concept of the large bore/short stroke, but if you want to rev it much over 7000 on a regular basis, the valve train mods are probably going to destroy your wallet.

Sorry, but I was unimpressed with that motor in the video, 540 hp at the flywheel is what? Maybe 450 at the wheels? My stock bottom end LS1 does that though a stalled auto trans.
