1hp/cubic inch is pretty good by most automotive standards when it comes to a V8. Anything over, while still N/A and without sacrificing daily driveability, is just icing on the cake.

I have TR220 in my truck. As long as your tune is good, the driveability is just fine. The truck doesnt really start to pull hard till 3500-4000, but still has some good power below 3500. I put down 305hp and 280tq on a mustang dyno (mods in sig). Remember #s are just #s. I'm door to door from a 40 roll with my friends 5.3 auto 4x4 who put down 350hp and 400tq with a 75 shot on the same dyno. I love the cam.

I wouldnt go bigger than 220 duration. These engines only have 9.5 to 1 compression.

I have a comp 220/220 @114+4 in my 4.8, be prepared to do some spark tuning to get the part throttle decent... Other than that i really like the cam and I am still on the stock TC... Just get your fueling dialed in and then really spend some time on the spark tables and you will be happy with it... Oh and it really pulls up top, mine starts rougyly at 2600 and then pulls all the way to my shift point (6300ish)....

I have the trick flow cam for my 4.8, just waiting till this fall to put it in along with the stall and some tranny mods. Tranny is getting alittle bit old if you know what I mean, later.

camming a 4.8 is borderline pointless when you can get a 6.0L shortblock for $500.

the cost is similar. just sayn

You've obviously never swapped in a 6.0L, or if you have you did it so cheap that I'm glad I'm not in the same state you are while you drive.
