ha ha ha, thanks 06tx4.8. thats how i used to be until i got caught and had to go to the ref in cali... ended up costing me 800 bucks to fix my "illegal" mods and pay the fine of the ref (in other words, straight up b.s.!) but doing the mail order, all i have to do is tell them all my mods, (soon to be cam, turbo, headers, no cats, no mufflers, etc) and they will know exactly how to tune it? if so, that sounds like the way i will go, since i dont have a dyno shop around here. when i lived in cali, it was like there was one on every block

LS1tech camaro guys with cats pass with 224's 220's all day with good tuning. I've seen custom 228's make it on the boards over there also. I'd say you could go with a 216/218 566/568 on a 115 lsa since its turbo a little higher lsa will help net you more power and will help with the sniffer test. That cam could turn it out pretty good and net you close to 40rwhp. Or I like this one better 218/222 571/574 113+3. I'm no guru but that lsa should get you to pass the sniffer test and I don't think the duration or lift would get you in trouble that way either. With the added duration and lift you could get closer to 45-50 rwhp more on a good tune. I see you have no cats in your sig get some magnaflow metallic spun cats and a magnaflow 1 into 2 muffler to help you pass also. You probably wouldn't notice too much difference in power, and if you did get a cut-out.

i was thinking about going with some high flow cats... probably will. but im definately not getin a muffler. the sound of the rear mounted turbo is sick as hell... i put diesels to shame. i will check out some reviews on those type of cams you said. thanks for the info, its appreciated.

Cool, i bet it does sound sick with the exhaust exiting right there after the turbo. Those grinds are just some numbers I threw together off the top of my head that are combo's of what I have seen done that made really good numbers. By no means can those two cams have the perfect valve events you want but I think they would work very good, get you to pass smog and make good power.
