well, im going to pick up a (lq9) 6.0 and a 4l65e tomorrow. and i have a few questions. first, when going frome 4l60e to 4l65e will there need to be any tuning changes? next my truck has egr and the 6.0 doesnt should i use my intake or somehow get rid of egr? if so how. thanx in advance.

 

I don't think you will need to make changes to the tune going to the 65e. If you don't need the EGR to pass emissions, then remove it and have a tuning shop remove it from your tune. Good luck on the swap.

 

well i got the motor, but not the 65e. im going to have a local builder build the tranny.
