Where'd you get your engine from? I have a house not too far from Brunswick but haven't seen any engines for sale in my area. Basically I'm looking for somewhere that has parts for our trucks in the south Ga. area. Good job on the swap man; even though you say its easy I think it'd take me 100x as long to do as it did you

I found it on car-part.com locator website. I took a day off work and drove 5 hours one way to get this baby. It was all worth it. The place was called allpro in Aurburndale, fl. when I say its easy, I mean you can follow the normal instructions for replacing an engine and get these results. Its easy compared to port and polishing heads or building a forged internal motor.

You can also check in Hazelhurst, GA. They have two large junk yards there, they usually keep a couple of 6.0L for sale.

Are the injectors the same in size between the 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0L engines, for someone who might get the long block less intake and injectors?

Will the fuel pump of the 4.8L truck be enough for the 6.0L engine?

Will it run with the 4.8L tune and be okay to drive until it get tuned?

depends on the year, but in general, yes it will work unless you are putting in a cam.

same as above, a 255 lph pump wouldn't hurt anything though

it has been done, I wouldn't get too crazy with it but you could do it, I would advise getting it tuned as soon as reasonably possible and no playing around in it until that's done...

It's a 2003 Silverado 4.8L, if it matters.

in that case a 6.0L stock will be fine with your original injectors and pump, but before the other upgrades like power adders and cams come in to play make sure you budget for fuel system upgrades, but in general you should be fine
