if thats a bolt-on.. then what is CAI? a sticker?..lol. sweet engine man!

I did bolt it in!!! Quess its a bolt-in, not a bolt-on. I just drove it with the tune. Could someone get that mustang driver a sip of water or something . He looked pale and sickly after I wallked him

while your at it get him something worthy of driving on the same roads as some of your guys's trucks!

one day... when im not broke ill grow up to be a pround owner of a 6.0 powered truck. ive got most of the parts lined up!


very clean swap! when can you put mine in and who teaches the auto body class at this particular college? i need some fiberglass and paint work done too!!

So you can put the diffrence between the 4.8 and the 6.0 into words????
I am in the process of the swap, and just curious about the diffrence.

Well , Mine is stock as you can get. It has a panel filter and a 2.5 expanded pipe slowmaster weld-in My truck would hardly bark em. Now it will blister the out of em. I only got about 12 miles on it, but You can't smack the grin off my face. All doubters get off yer butt and do this swap!!!!

Swap looks great man!!! Very fast at doin it as well.
We just finishied mine up but we took a bit longer than that.We worked on it for about 15-16hours to get it all done.But hey it's done.

So a 6.0 will pretty much bolt up in place of a 4.8?? other then the fact that you need to use the flywheel of the 4.8, I have a Lq4 sitting out of a 03' Chevy.. Can I use the 4.8 wiring harness and just swap the motor in ??? I will have to tune the ECU ofcourse ..

YES, DO IT. It just bolts in. Its crazy easy , looks and sounds stock and its a big jump in power.

Yea, i did the same with mine.Took the flywheel off my 5.3 and used the harness from it as well.
Man i'm ready to get it tuned now!!!!!!!!
