Terravasts cam is actually a middle of the road. It's more suited for na with the small exhaust bias however will still compliment a boosted setup. On the 383 it takes a bit more consideration imo, reason being you add CI but don't gain the bore increase to facilitate the larger 4" bore heads without having valve shrouding. Timing the valve events to optimize the increase in piston speed is beneficial.
Couldnt agree more. TSP's suggestion is not far off.

No, it should work fine. I am referring the 233/239. Wonder if it has any advance ground into it? Does anyone know?

I'll check on the advance - getting with them today on ordering it since on the teardown of the short block my suspicions on the ticking noise was correct and I lost a lifter on #7 and ate a lobe - Let the spending begin...again :>)
