I actually just made the decision and it wasn't about the money...not that I have a glut of it by any means. I was thinking that for FI the truck would make about as much power if a little less torque, run about the same times with better gas mileage and not have the possibility of any oil burning issues that some 408's have had. I was also ok with stock exhaust with the 370. I agree the off idle torque would have been better but that is easily solved with a pd blower or a little more stall. Also fwiw, my dyno and drag software didn't show hardly a bit of difference in times. Good luck with your build!

Haha, it's not on the forum per say until you enter the character "key"...not sure if that's the right word.

If you're running windows, I used the Character Map. You can find this by Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map.

Speaking of integrals, time for math class. Boo on double integral lectures, they're sooooo boring!

20% more than buying a crate and wudn't have a warranty! ...prob $8000-15000 depending on if u want turn-key and component decisions:
Block 800-1000
heads 2000-3000
cam 400-500
rotating ***'ly 2500-5000
Pulley kit 1100-1500 (6 or 8 rib?)
blower/turbo 6000
Then u still gotta think of the tranny, rr end, injectors, headers & exhaust, tuning, machining, water & oil pump...etc. Of course u can try and get lots of used parts and save, BUT BEST BET IS TO BUY SOMEONE ELSES HARD WORK FOR LESS THAN HALF!
