Always 1st and 2nd under light throttle. And it doesn't matter what gear under heavy throttle.

Last night I tried running with traction control and stabilitrak turned off. It didn't make a difference. I think my next step is to try a different tune all together using HPtuners. I will post back with the results.

What is also weird is that if you look at the logs it is running perfect. The tune is the last thing to try before throwing a different cam in.

Well I found the issue, It was the drivers side header hitting the floor of the cab. No less than 6 other people had ridden in the truck and all said that they thought it was a misfire also. I feel dumb, but I am glad that it was something this minor.

So how was that causing the mixture to fire in the header? You think the ecm took that to be knock and was retarding timing?

When we looked at logs we could never find it doing anything with timing. So we were troubleshooting the noise as a misfire that wasn't actually occurring. It was not firing in the header after all, just sounded like it.
