2007 yukon with DOD cam swap
#1
Has anyone done a cam swap on one of the new motors?
codes ar LMG, LC9, LY9...
Effectively it should be the same stick from any lsx based motor, but I'm wondering if the DOD oil galley changes affect anything with camshaft possibilities?
I knwo rough first post...lol
I'm an experienced lsx enthusiast, I own a TTc5 408 stroker, and make a portion of my living tuning cars, so I think bumping the daily driver up a few ponies could be prudent.

i have 2007 envoy denali i thinking of doing that as well , but i,m looking for info about DOD ,, my engine is LH6 when you guys remove the cam did you have phaser limiter i mea VVT or it just DOD with out VVT , from 2007 up cam comes with one bolt , and compcams have new cams for it , try #154-400-13 , #154-401-13 ,, 403 ,, 404 ,, 405
they are specialy for 2007 up ,, but the lift is to high for DOD so we have to shut it off
