2005 5.3 with 243 heads ? what do u think

Actually I don't have a Z71, but did get the 4x4 on my 05.

So I took the heads to the shop..... told him 30 and his like how is your intake going to line up and what about accessoies

ok mayb its also the 4x4s.. i just know it doesnt come on 2wd.. it needs to be a vin B for it to be HO..

my cousin went 50 on his.. everything lined up on an lq4.. i went 30 on my 5.3 no problems either.. ull be fine..

Correct ECSB 4x4 and you could get the L33 HO engine, and cool electric fans. Also I think it was a rare option for 05... I didn't even know anything about it unil I was looking at my window sticker when I got home.

i didnt know anything about it until i started working on mods..lol came to realize this thing was bad ***.. electric fans higher compression and way better flowing heads then the stock 5.3s.. gosh i loved it.. just didnt like that it came with 3.42s from the dealer but that has been solved.. they are great engines...

seems like any halfway decent machine shop would know how to make the intake fit properly.....

My 243's were shaved .030, everything lined up fine.
