Prolly gonna need to have the heads shaved down a bit to retain your compression ratio. I would think it would make good power.

Default 2001 zo6 cam and springs

how much would this cam yield in power wise and how high can i shift at, and what is needed for this swap just the cam and springs or do i need pushrods as well, and do you uys think i would see a performance gain in swamping out my exhaust vavles from 04 zo6's if its possible and which is better for my application the 2001 or 2002 thanks just very curious because i am getting a good deal on a complete package i just don't want to buy the stuff i don't need thanks

Zero HP from that setup, probley lose HP, cam and springs maybe 15HP but the heads are going to kill your compression from 9.5.1 to 9.0.0 there goes your HP, also the heads would have to be milled .050 and then the intake side as well so your looking at around 400 to do the heads and then of course the valve to bore diff. your bore is only 3.77 compared to the 3.90 of the 5.7 so the vlaves would be right against the piston wall and if you do decide to use them make sure you get the 5.7 head gaskets.

Carlos, is there a particular reason why you insist on the 01 ls6 cam? There are better cams outthere. If you are concerned about drivability, consider the CC 212/218. This is a proven cam.
