I have a 2008 Silverado with the 5.3 and 4L60E. Its got a 224/230 cam with .609 lift, FAST LSXRt intake manifold, ported and polished 243 heads, LT headers with a QTP electric cutout, cold air intake, 3200 FTI converter.
idk if its just a bad tune but every now and again the engine light will come on and say random misfire and a few other bull crap codes.
I want more power!!!! Any suggestions?
It make 363 rwhp with 33 in tires and 22 inch rims with a leveling kit

Misfire could be real or tune related, several things can be adjust to prevent the random P0300 code with aggressive camshaft upgrades.
Smaller wheel and tires too, those are robbing power and making it really slow.
Or slap some 4.56 or 4.88 gears in it.
Or slap on a blower and watch the 4L60e explode, kinda surprised it's lasted this long.

Imo OP, get a 6.0 and swap your heads and cam into that. Will make crazy torque and depending on head CC and port work, can make 450whp easily

I've thought about that for sure. I'm going to put a small lowering kit on the rear and put some streets and find a good tuner and see how it does. i hate the 4L60E I'm thinking about doing a 80e swap

862 heads have been proven to make more power on the 5.3 compared the the 243s and with the weight of a truck and those huge *** tires, the NNBS truck intake will make more power where you need it...unless you like needing 3000rpm to get moving. Up to you.
