The felt skidplate is behind the metal skidplate.

It's a cheap stamped steel plate too, likely to bend easy but will stop road debris.

Yes most do have them but it's not a real plate in my eyes. I like the heavier duty plates on the 99-06 gm trucks with 4WD, those are pretty thick.
