Took some pictures, went to the scale.
I've owned this truck for like 1.5 years now and haven't taken any pictures of it yet. So while it's clean and I wasn't doing anything I snapped a few and also went to the cat scale at the truck stop to see what it comes in at.
It's a 2016 Crew Cab LT model with cloth seats. I lowered the truck 1.5in front and 3in for the rear. Has running boards and tonneau cover and spray in bedliner for add on's. This weight is with 3/4 tank of fuel without me in it. I kinda just wanted to know for myself really and I plan to go to a semi local 1/8th mile at the end of April just for fun on their test and tune days.
Also bought a brand new helmet but still need to buy the shaded visor for it.

It's a 4X4 truck. I'd say with the add on's it like 80-100lbs heavier than it could be and I had maybe 20lbs worth of just random stuff it but not like that really matters.
I have the HP Tuners Track Addict App on my phone just for kicks and so far it's said I've done 0-60 in as fast at 6.0 seconds with my fastest 1/8th at 9.001 seconds.
So I'm thinking I can be under that time for sure because I have yet to test that app with a full tank of E85 and in some nicer weather. It's too cold outside right now to even think about traction on the street, I just blow the tires off for the first 50+ feet.

Hey man, I wasn't saying she shouldn't weigh that. I was just surprised to see she weighs nearly pound for pound what my Tahoe weighs, and my Tahoe has 5 E range tires, fabricated DOM bumpers, 9.5" rear swap, extra (albeit aluminum) skids, tons of sound insulation and an extended fuel tank (also aluminum)
all that typed out, she sure as **** does not run 9.0 in the 1/8 lmao. Maybe 12.0 😂

It's sad how heavy they are as a half ton. Its within around 200 lbs of my 04 crew cab light duty 3/4 ton.
My 2017 2500hd double cab 6 liter truck empty was 6900 lbs so it makes sense I guess.

I don't remember if I did tried to read what GM says the weight was from the factory but I was thinking around 5,300lbs, so it would be semi close to that if I removed everything like the running boards, bed cover and went on the scale with 2 gallons of fuel in the tank lol.
I didn't really have any immediate plans for more mods at the moment. I would like to do 50% tint on the front windows someday and probably just some other random small stuff I can't think of at the moment. More power would always be nice and the more I think about it, a 6.2 swap is always cheaper than a turbo/supercharger kit.

I like the color
You can definitely feel the added weight with this generation, my 2006 feels half the size.... I will say my 17 4x4 bone stock pulls harder than my 2006 two wheel drive street tuned 5.3 Sierra despite being a pig. Guessing most of the weight is insulation and safety crap... they're a lot quieter and have a lot more crash tech nowadays.
