Default thinking about trading up my duramax. opinions on dealerships.

Hey guys im thinking about trading in my 09 duramax for a 2014+ truck. My local dealer refuses to try and negotiate. Do any of yall recommend a dealer that you personally have had god results with? doenst matter where as I travel ALOT for work as long as its in the lower 48.

I've been in negotiations with a dealership for awhile. Right now I'm on hold because I'm disappointed with the rebates that GM is offering right now. I guess these trucks are selling well enough to where they don't care. Probably the same reason for your difficulties

I know ford is having some awesome deals on super duties right now. I really want a new GMC but im not gonna pay that 10g more for the the duramax with less options.

Fords are going cheap because the new body style is coming out soon. Then their prices will jump and rebates will ease off. The Silverado looks like it has better rebates than the Sierra's right now, but I think the Sierra looks better.

My friend found the best deal on a 15 Denali Duramax in Illinois. I don.t know what dealership though.

the fords are coming out with a new f150. the f250 will stay the same. I am also looking for a denalli HD. But for the money the King ranch f250 is looking tempting.

Contact Monte Coon at Moritz Chevrolet, Monte is the sales manager and one of the finest human beings I know. He made me one hell of a deal on my '14 too!!

I looked at moritz website. Do they only do Chevrolet? they didn't have any GMC listed.

If you're looking for a 2015 (new body style) HD D-Max, in July 2014, you will pay dearly for it. If you're looking for a 2014 (previous body style) HD D-Max you are going to have a hard time finding what you are looking for this late in the year being fully loaded, as in Denali options, especially with the all new retooled 2015 HD's on the lots.

When you bought your 09, what kind of incentives were on it? That body style had been out for 2 model years.

As far as a good dealership, Joe V Clayton CHEVROLET in Arab, AL is extremely hard to beat. Contact Bill Bass. He's an old timer straight shooter type that will tell it like it is whether it pisses you off or not, so he may appear to be an ******* but I guarantee he'll get you the absolute best deal available. He will also tell you that he makes alittle money on everybody but not alot on anybody.
