Speedometer moves fast.

What's your mod list besides the cam?

I installed TSP Headers and catted mid-pipe but removed after two days of driving. Was not a fan of all the extra exhaust leak sounds and how extremely loud my daily would become. So I removed headers and installed factory manifolds and mid-pipe but modified the 3rd cat. I have requested a return from TSP on headers. If I don't get anywhere I will have those up for sale if anyone is interested.

Thanks man. I was wondering mostly about the exhaust setup. Shame he took the headers off, there's some good power to be had there, and leaks can be fixed.

Also the stock 6.2 catback does pretty good and is real quiet. I'm digging mine.

Yes they do. I’d swear the headers on my charger are leaking but it’s just the nature of the beast. I expect the same with the Silverado.

I have headers on mine, I know exactly what it's like.

After I got my leaks toned down the aggravation was majorly toned down to where even my wife really likes it now. The only noise I hear is when the radio is off. If I have it even at a low level I hardly hear anything. Before I got the leaks toned down and the timing right it was annoying as FFFFF and I wanted to rip them off and throw them in the trash. Now I really like the sounds.

Best I can tell the y pipe is louder than the headers themselves. I'm considering wrapping the Y pipe to make it even quieter

Just put speed engineering headers and catless y pipe on my l83 and swore there was all kinds of leaks. Glad I’m not the only one. Running a venom 300 muffler and could barely hear the vengeance stage 2 cam so removed the resonator. Now it’s so obnoxiously loud/raspy I gotta find a good resonator and piping to get it out the back instead of the dump right before the axle. Hoping the piping helps as a rcsb doesn’t have much room to add more stuff.

I have a 08 Silverado 5.3 with 228/234 cam and .609 lift, FAST intake manifold, LT headers, ported polished heads. Do I need bigger fuel injectors? I still have the factory injectors

Don't know, what did the tuner say, what's the duty cycle with your current injectors?
