Default Texas Speed 227/231, .635"/.635", 116 LSA, 110.5ICL Cam in L86 6.2L

Looking for feedback on this cam. Has anyone installed one?

Like to see video of idle. Any feedback would be much appreciated!

I've been researching cams this week for my 14 5.3, I have several questions.

Do you have a write up on the cam and how you like it? If so I could get a lot of answers there. Don't wanna take up this thread so if you don't I can PM you if that's cool.

I think it's in but not tuned yet. I was following his post over on gm-trucks.com

I ended up with a smaller cam from BTR 223/228 -.604" / .604" - 114 LSA.

Should have it back from tuner today.

Tuner done with street tune. Truck is on dyno and he ran out of time yesterday. Looks like truck will be sitting on dyno over the next four days until they get back.

He ran into an issue in 3rd gear on dyno as it pulled fuel at 98 mph and in 4th gear it pulled fuel before Rev limiter and speed limiter settings. He wasn't sure why and was going to dig deeper but ran out of time.

Any estimates on final hp and tq numbers? I have my own idea. BTW this is on 93 octane initially and then will go E85.

Since you took your headers off I would say it will be down. My guess I on 93 is 420. With headers 440 and E85 450+

Dyno - 409 HP and 426 TQ on 93 octane and Mustang Dyno.

Torque reading looks all over the place. He got 1-4 shifts spot on. Not happy about my clunk in drive-line, more noticeable now with bigger cam. Believe it will go back to tuner for some more refinement.
